Linguistic and Literary Areas
The Linguistic and Literary Learning Area is made up of elements from several traditional “subjects,” including Sesotho, English, Drama and Music. Material from this Learning Area is mainly about the teaching, learning and use of language. Language permeates every aspect of life and the ability to use it effectively and efficiently gives learners access to knowledge, enables them to play an active part in society and contributes to their personal growth, opening avenues for further study and career opportunities.
